National Lampoon's Lost Reality

I was browsing Netflix, and I saw this movie. I wasn't really expecting anything from it, but I did find a couple of things very funny from this movie. It is a movie that complies a bunch of television shows which no network picked up. Some of the shows were funny, but on the other hand some weren't funny at all. Check out the trailer below.

Throwback Movie of the Day

Today's throwback movie of the day is Risky Business. The movie is about a Chicago teenager(Joel Goodsen, played by Tom Cruise) that is looking for fun at home while his parents are away, but the situation quickly gets out of hand, and a lot happens to him while they are gone.

National Lampoon's Going The Distance

The movie National Lampoon's going the Distance I thought was a pretty good film. It is about a guy named Nick, who looses his virginity to his girlfriend, Trish, on the last day of school at a party. The next day, Trish tells Nick that she found an internship in Toronto with a guy named Mr. Swackhammer, who's main goal is really to hook up with her. A couple of weeks go by, and Nick buys a plane ticket to go visit her, and propose to her. But his friends, Dime and Tyler get him drunk, so he misses his flight in the morning, so they go on a road trip to get there. Nick's parents want him to stop being so into Trish, so they hire a man to try and get him to not arrive at Toronto. On the way, they find two hitchhikers, Sasha and Jill, who Dime and Nick fall for. I couldn't find a link to the trailer, but there is a clip of the movie below.

Justin Bieber Never Say Never

Scream 4

This is the fourth movie in the scream series, the last one was released in 2000. After watching this trailer, the movie looked to be pretty interesting, also a bonus seeing how it will be directed by Wes Craven again. David Arquette, Neve Campbell, and Courtney Cox are the only returning members from the previous Scream films. Judging from the trailer, the movie is about Sydney Prescott getting a call from the killer, after 10 years of trying to get her life back together. The trailer is found below.

Dirty Deeds

Before I begin to talk about this movie, theres actually a link on youtube which you can watch the movie for free. With that being said, I found this a cool high-school themed comedy. It is about a list of deeds, which have to be done before 9 AM the morning of homecoming. The main character is a guy named Zach Harper, who has a crush on a girl named Meg Cummings. The school bully, is picking on Meg Cumming's little brother, Kyle, so in order to prove himself he vows to complete the deeds. Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son

The movie Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son will be the third movie from the Big Momma's House franchise. After watching the trailer, it looks like it will be pretty funny, especially since Martin Lawrence will be returning for this film. Malcolm Turner, has been going undercover as "Big Momma" since the first film. In this movie, his teenage stepson Trent Pierce visits him while he is working on a case and witnesses the criminal murder somebody. To keep Trent safe, Malcolm goes undercover as Big Momma for the third time. In addition to this, Trent also goes undercover as Big Momma's great niece "Charmaine Daisy Pierce" at a performing arts' school for girls. Meanwhile, Trent tries to develop a romance with one of the girls as his real self while "Big Momma" is being pursued by the school's goofball janitor Kurtis Kool(which has a fascination for big women). Throwback Movie of the Day

Today's throwback movie of the day is Porky's. The movie is about a group of Florida high schoolers that seek out to lose their virginity which leads them to try and get revenge on a sleazy nightclub owner and his redneck sheriff brother for harassing them.

Shutter Island

After I watched the movie Shutter Island, my mind was blown. The ending is very unexpected, and it gives you a lot to think about. It is about a U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. But the movie goes so much deeper into that. I don't really want to give anything away, but it takes a lot of twists and turns which are unexpected. If you haven't seen this movie I would highly recommend it. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars.

Todays throwback movie of the day is Fraternity Vacation. It s about a nerd that gains the friendship of two of his frat brothers when his dad offers them his condo for the week in Palm Springs, and also offers the fraternity a hot tub and jacuzzi if they can help his son find a girl. They meet two guys from a rival fraternity, and make a bet on who can get the girl they both agree on first.

The Roommate(2011)

They start off as good friends, but then things start to turn deadly when Rebecca starts targeting people in Sara's life. The trailer is found below.

Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny

This stand-up comedy by Kevin Hart was one of the funnier stand-ups that I've seen in a while. It's absolutely hilarious throughout the whole thing. If you watch this, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I really underestimated Kevin Hart, only seeing him in a couple of his earlier movie appearances. Check out the trailer below.

Throwback Movie of the Day

Today's throwback movie of the day goes to Dream a Little Dream. It is about a boy named Bobby Keller who has a best friend and a girlfriend. But he's not happy with his life. His parents don't notice him, he's failing in school, and he has a crush. He feels his life is pointless. Then, one night, everything changes when Bobby collides with his dream girl Lainie in his elderly neighbors' yard. Now, Coleman, his elderly neighbor, is trapped in Bobby's body, and his wife Geena is trapped in Lainie's body. In Coleman's dreams, Bobby advises him on how to act and that he isn't willing to go back, unless Coleman can fix his screwed-up life. There was also a sequel to this movie which I plan to watch soon. View the trailer below.

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

I've had this movie in my Netflix instant queue for a while, but I never got a chance to check it out. I watched the movie not really expecting much out of it,but after viewing this movie, I thought it was a pretty solid comedy. The storyline is pretty basic. It is about a guy named Don Ready, who was called upon by the owner of a used-car lot, Ben Selleck, in order to sell all of the cars in his lot, and prevent his place from getting shut down. It had a few funny parts, but I thought the ending was pretty cheesy. I'd give it about 3 starts out of 5. Check out the trailer below.

Throwback Movie of the Day

Today's throwback movie of the day is Spring Break(1983). It's about two "nerdish" friends, Nelson and Adam, they hotel accidently overbooked them with two other friends, Stu and O.T. They all agree to share the room, and just have a good time during spring break, including picking up girls, and other things that a normal teen would do during Spring Break. Also, they try to stop their hotel from getting closed down. Check the trailer below, and let me know what you think.

Just go with it (2011)

I saw this trailer the other day, and it looked to be pretty good. It's about a man named Danny Maccabee(Adam Sandler) who needs the help of Katherine Murphy(Jennifer Aniston) to land the girl of his dreams. If you haven't already, view the trailer and let me know what you think about it.

Trick r' Treat

I've been meaning to watch this movie for a while now, as I've heard pretty mixed reviews about it. In the beginning of the movie, it kept me interested with action. Although I thought most of the movie was pretty decent, I do feel as if there were a couple of tricks and turns being made throughout. There were several different stories being told at once, and they did an alright job hooking them into each other. If you have time, I'd recommend that you check this movie out, it's a pretty interesting slasher. I'd give it 3 stars out of 5. Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think.

The Haunting In Connecticut

I decided to check out the movie The Haunting In Connecticut, after seeing it was available on Netflix Instant Stream. I was very disappointed after watching the movie. In the beginning, it said it was "based on a true story," so I decided to look up on it(since I know a lot of horror movies that are "based on a true story" are really just a hoax). More information about this "true story" can be found here. I'm not sure why I didn't like the movie, I just didn't find the storyline too interesting, also it wasn't very scary being categorized a "horror" movie. This was about a boy named Matt, whose family temporarily moved into an ex-funeral home house in Connecticut. Matt had cancer, so they wanted to live in a place close to a hospital. While living in this house, strange things start to happen, and Matt starts to see things that the others wouldn't. I would give this movie 1.5 stars out of 5. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of this movie if you have watched it, the trailer can be found below.

Throwback Movie of the Day

Today's throwback movie of the day is Mallrats. One of my personal favorites, it's about two friends, TS and Brody, trying to win their girlfriend's back over at a day at the mall, but it's much more than that, you should check this out!

Fast Five

The Fast Five is the fifth movie in the Fast and the Furious Series. I'm not sure how I feel, after watching the trailer, but I see there are a few more characters added to this movie, including Dwayne Johnson(The Rock), and they are bringing Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris back, after having been in 2 fast 2 furious. Leave a comment and let me know what you think about this movie.
