The Change Up

This movie has a bit of a "Dream a little Dream" feeling to it, as the two main characters Mitch Planko(Ryan Reynolds) and Dave Lockwood(Jason Bateman) switch bodies. It all starts after Dave, a married, loving father of three children, meets up with his best friend Mitch, a womanizer, and also an aspiring actress wish for each others lives while peeing in a fountain. Teen Wolf Too

Jason Bateman stars in this sequel to the original, Teen Wolf. It is about a boy named Todd Howard (who was the cousin of Scott Howard from the first movie) who was sent of to college on a full boxing scholarship, because he got recommended by a coach who was aware of Scott Howard's talents. During a meet and greet reception of school alumni, Todd has his first "wolf-out" while dancing with a seductive hostess. At first, Todd is horrified by his "family affliction", and fellow students begin to taunt him. Then, during his first boxing fight, after nearly getting knocked out, Todd has his second "wolf-out" only this time he is able to display his supernatural agility and strength and has a dramatic come from behind victory, thus earning the admiration of the students as well as the strict Dean Dunn. While he gains fame from his peers, he loses some of his friends, and even self-respect.

Today's Throwback Thursday movie is Hiding out. It is about a very successful stock broker, named Andrew Morenski is forced to be on the run after he is called to court to testify against a mod boss. At first he is hidden to avoid death threats, but then he later runs off to his cousins house, and changed his identity to start attending school with his cousin.

He was just an ordinary high school boy, but now life is different for him as he has turned into a vampire. Trouble arises for him when a vampire hunter tries to hunt him down and kill him.

Who's Your Daddy?

I think the ending of this movie was pretty predictable. It is about an adopted high-school senior named Danny Hughes. His group of friends are the laughing stock of the high school, and they can't even get anyone show up to a "free booze" party. After being grounded from stealing beer from their family grocery store, Danny finds out his biological parent's died in a car crash, and left him their porn magazine company which is worth 87 billion dollars. As Danny turns into a nobody to Mr. popularity, he forgets about all of his friends that he had before. Check out the trailer.

Today's Throwback Thursday movie is Adventures in Babysitting. It is about a girl named Chris Parker going through an "adventure" babysitting Brad, and Sara. The story develops after Chris's boyfriend Mike Todwell stood her up. As she is babysitting, her friend Brenda calls Chris and tells her to pick her up from the train station, because she is stuck there with no money, after she ran away from home. But on their way there, she runs into a lot of encounters after her car catches a flat tire.

Play The Game

Before I start, I just want to say this is honestly one of the best romantic-comedies I've seen in a while. It is about a "player" named David, who tries to help his "Grandpa Joe" finally get over his wife that recently died. But while helping him meet new women, and introducing him on how to "play the game", Grandpa Joe explains to David about settling down, and finding a companion that would be suitable for him. David then meets Julie, and tries to "play the game" to figure out how he can finally be with Julie. The ending of this movie was also very good.

National Lampoon's Lost Reality

I was browsing Netflix, and I saw this movie. I wasn't really expecting anything from it, but I did find a couple of things very funny from this movie. It is a movie that complies a bunch of television shows which no network picked up. Some of the shows were funny, but on the other hand some weren't funny at all. Check out the trailer below.

Today's throwback movie of the day is The Hollywood Knights. It takes places on the night of Halloween 1965. It is about a group of high-school pranksters(their group named is Hollywood Knights. The Beverly Hills Homeowners Association's decided to close down their favorite place to hang out, a drive-in diner, which they launched a prolonged comic assault on the uptight association and two local police office. Dirty Deeds

Before I begin to talk about this movie, theres actually a link on youtube which you can watch the movie for free. With that being said, I found this a cool high-school themed comedy. It is about a list of deeds, which have to be done before 9 AM the morning of homecoming. The main character is a guy named Zach Harper, who has a crush on a girl named Meg Cummings. The school bully, is picking on Meg Cumming's little brother, Kyle, so in order to prove himself he vows to complete the deeds. In response, Zach Harper takes over the list of deeds and tries to become the first student in years to complete the list. Today's throwback movie of the day is Weird Science. The movie is about two "nerdy" teenagers,Gary and Wyatt, who fail at all attempts to be accepted by their peers. In hoping to be liked by their peers, they "create" a woman via their computer. Their living and breathing creation is a gorgeous woman, Lisa, whose purpose is to boost their confidence level by putting them into situations which require Gary and Wyatt to act like men. Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son

The movie Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son will be the third movie from the Big Momma's House franchise. After watching the trailer, it looks like it will be pretty funny, especially since Martin Lawrence will be returning for this film. Malcolm Turner, has been going undercover as "Big Momma" since the first film. In this movie, his teenage stepson Trent Pierce visits him while he is working on a case and witnesses the criminal murder somebody. To keep Trent safe, Malcolm goes undercover as Big Momma for the third time. In addition to this, Trent also goes undercover as Big Momma's great niece "Charmaine Daisy Pierce" at a performing arts' school for girls. Meanwhile, Trent tries to develop a romance with one of the girls as his real self while "Big Momma" is being pursued by the school's goofball janitor Kurtis Kool(which has a fascination for big women). Today's throwback movie of the day is Porky's. The movie is about a group of Florida high schoolers that seek out to lose their virginity which leads them to try and get revenge on a sleazy nightclub owner and his redneck sheriff brother for harassing them.

It s about a nerd that gains the friendship of two of his frat brothers when his dad offers them his condo for the week in Palm Springs, and also offers the fraternity a hot tub and jacuzzi if they can help his son find a girl. They meet two guys from a rival fraternity, and make a bet on who can get the girl they both agree on first.

Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny

This stand-up comedy by Kevin Hart was one of the funnier stand-ups that I've seen in a while. It's absolutely hilarious throughout the whole thing. If you watch this, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I really underestimated Kevin Hart, only seeing him in a couple of his earlier movie appearances. Check out the trailer below.

Today's throwback movie of the day goes to Dream a Little Dream. It is about a boy named Bobby Keller who has a best friend and a girlfriend. But he's not happy with his life. His parents don't notice him, he's failing in school, and he has a crush. He feels his life is pointless. Then, one night, everything changes when Bobby collides with his dream girl Lainie in his elderly neighbors' yard. Now, Coleman, his elderly neighbor, is trapped in Bobby's body, and his wife Geena is trapped in Lainie's body. In Coleman's dreams, Bobby advises him on how to act and that he isn't willing to go back, unless Coleman can fix his screwed-up life. There was also a sequel to this movie which I plan to watch soon. View the trailer below.

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

I've had this movie in my Netflix instant queue for a while, but I never got a chance to check it out. I watched the movie not really expecting much out of it,but after viewing this movie, I thought it was a pretty solid comedy. The storyline is pretty basic. It is about a guy named Don Ready, who was called upon by the owner of a used-car lot, Ben Selleck, in order to sell all of the cars in his lot, and prevent his place from getting shut down. It had a few funny parts, but I thought the ending was pretty cheesy. I'd give it about 3 starts out of 5. Check out the trailer below.

I saw this trailer the other day, and it looked to be pretty good. It's about a man named Danny Maccabee(Adam Sandler) who needs the help of Katherine Murphy(Jennifer Aniston) to land the girl of his dreams. If you haven't already, view the trailer and let me know what you think about it.
